PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL

Everybody wants to be a project manager but not everyone wants to do the work.

I am currently a PMP ® and CSM ® certified Technical Digital Projects Delivery Manager with over 6 years of experience in business/management consulting and project management. I have worked in and delivered over 40 projects across multiple industries, including: Investment, Banking, Health Insurance, Oil and Gas, and Vehicle and Asset Finance, Education, Mining, Automotive and Pharmaceuticals. I have used traditional waterfall SDLC methodologies and the Scrum framework for Agile software development. The compliment of projects that I have been involved in delivering include: compliance alignment, digital innovation, technology selection, new banking user interface testing and implementation, account plan strategy definition, people complexities advisory analysis, SharePoint implementation, recognition and reward platform and implementation. I completed my Honours Thesis on the adoption of Agile Software delivery in IT consulting companies. I am involved with speaking, coaching and leading with the International Toastmasters, and have received the Distinguished Toastmaster award (the highest honours achievable in Toastmasters). I am also a published author working on Everybody Wants To be a Project Manager. My intention is to make contributions to consulting, digital technology and entrepreneurship transformation in Africa and subsequently pursue an MBA at an Ivy League University, preferably Harvard or Oxford University. After this achievement, I wish to work towards serial entrepreneurship in conjunction to delivery management throughout Africa.
